Use your page name, not your personal profile
A Facebook page and a personal profile have different URL formats. This tool is built for page links; if you paste a personal profile URL by mistake, the page it opens will not be the one you intended.
The Facebook blue is the default, but you can change it
The tool starts with a slightly darkened Facebook blue (#0D6FEE) as the foreground color, because the exact brand blue falls just under the contrast the scannability meter looks for. Change it in the color picker if it does not fit your printed material.
Double check the page name after a rename
Facebook lets page admins change the page’s username. If you have recently renamed your page, confirm the new name resolves correctly before printing a large batch of codes.
Test on both iOS and Android before printing in bulk
A plain facebook.com link opens the same way on both platforms, but it is worth confirming it opens your page (and not a login wall) on both before ordering a big print run.
